Fastest Computer Configuration!?

Fastest Computer Configuration Now (July 2012)!? Well maybe not, but this will be interesting.

I made a configuration without budget constraint (a.k.a dream machine)

16GB of RAM for this configuration since I can't find a DDR3 2800 8GB on a single memory and the motherboard below can take only 4 slots of memory.

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77 WS Max. 32GB, supports DDR3 2800(O.C.)

Memory: AVEXIR Core Series 8GB Kit (2 x 4GB) Dual Channel 240-pin DDR3 2800 (PC3 22400) Desktop Memory Module Model AVD3U28001204G-2CI x 2

CPU: Core i7-2700K 3.5Ghz

SSD: MZ-7PC512D/IT x 2 = 1TB @ RAID 0

Powersupply: Well I don't really care as long as it's durable and efficient.

Case: This too, I would get something affordable.

Now thinking about possible use-case:

For now, I will want to get this to crawl the net and use it to store web data. I will then develop a program that will utilize the RAM efficiently, possibly even RAM disk to analyze data.

I will have to write a loop that analyzes a whole bunch of data efficiently, so writing in C++ should be the best option.

Don't tell me to just get a server off HP or Dell. I like building servers.

Well, if you happen to be rich enough to give us a super-spec server, just contact us and we will really appreciate it. :)

While Dreaming of Building The Fastest Computer in the World...

While Dreaming of Building The Fastest Computer in the World, I came across this video 3 years old. The thing is crazy. 6TB in SSD and over 2GB/s speed.

Oh, if you must know, the SSD was from SAMSUNG.

Now, I am on to theoretically plan the best spec to build a computer without any limit of budget. :)

Hey, it's good to have a dream, right?
