First time to use a Pocket Computer (Pokecon) VX-4

Officially named the Casio Super College Personal Computer VX-4, you can run BASIC and CASL and C on this cool calculator / pocket computer.

I tried a beeping sound function for VX-4 and it beeped a nice electronic beep.
This calculator is fun!

  1. Hi,
do you have any manual or something similar? maybe a sample of CASL or C?
I do have the same calculator, but no documentation.

    Best regards

    1. Well, there is a simple Japanese manual page at: http://luckleo.cocolog-nifty.com/pockecom/VX-4/HTML/fx-870p_manual_jp.html

If you are not familiar with Japanese, I can translate the simple manual to English.

Occasionally on Japanese Yahoo auction, there is the VX-4 on sale with manuals, but it is rather rare.

    2. Thank you so much!

I already know that Page. A very good site. But there are no informations Abort CASL or C on that page.

That is what I am looking for.

    3. Well, after a quick search, there is a book of CASL for Pokecon called "ポケコン版CASL入門" on Amazon.co.jp at http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E6%9C%AC/dp/toc/4339022675 .

      Maybe it will help you.

      Best Regards,
