The hack became intense as the rain became harder too.
Tsubasa and Mikey thought the same thing. "It must be a weather weapon". Weather weapons changed the weather and made weathers crazy for certain affected places. Russia had been doing that for decades.

Simply put, Tsubasa and Mikey were safe for now, but the HQ was in very dangerous situation. Classified documents relating to Aegis weapons and submarines were leaking by TB/s. Somebody had to stop this or all the edge against Chinese and North Koreans would be lost.

Tsubasa calculated the ETA for returning to Atsugi base, and Mikey was radioing with a short wave radio to prepare for the stealth helicopter they were on to safely land on the base.

Anonymous white-hat hackers began to assemble physically in a classified bunker in Atsugi base, and one of them was of a Vietnamese - Japanese decent. He was indeed the cousin of Tsubasa, called David.

David was in the Marines, but he did more than that. He was engineer by day and hacker by night. His favorite superhero was batman.

David joined the Marines several years ago, but Tsubasa and David hadn't seen each other for ages. The white-hat anonymous hackers were preventing the core system of the Atsugi base to be attacked, so they built cyber-trenches and cyber-traps (honeypots) so the state backed APT hackers would not get in to the core of cores.

Singularity 2014 part 3

Tsubasa's watch made a faint vibration indicating that they were ordered for going to the extraction zone.

"C'mon Mikey we gotta rush!" said Tsubasa. Mikey, being a heavy gunner too, had loads of equipment.

Then a stealth copter unmarked but black, came without turning on the red lights or any other lights.

Tsubasa an Mikey each got their rope and the rope winched up.

Extraction complete... Or so they thought...

"RPG-7!!!!" yelled the pilot, and the pilot swerved the stealth helicopter to avoid it. Mikey gunned the heavy machine gun while Tsubasa frantically communicated for reinforcements.

Strange........ There were more than 30 soldiers that appeared from nowhere.

Tried F-22 Raptor Demo on ML115 G5 with Windows 7 Pro.

The GPU is Geforce GT220. :)

Worked flawlessly once you changed the display resolution. Didn't really work well with Fullscreen even on 800X600.

I am recently working hard on figuring things out in the computer world. One book that is inspiring me is The Singularity is Near by Ray Kurzweil.

Ray Kurzweil recently joined Google.

I am in the process of building a AI application that is going to be part of Mohawk Search.

I'm excited for this, especially the rumored new iPod touch.

SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB Flash Drive Review

I got SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB Flash Drive from Mikey all the way from USA (I live in Japan). I tested the READ/WRITE speed of the USB flash drive. The result was 21.68MB/s READ and 3.756 MB/s WRITE (Seq) tested with CrystalDiskBench 3 64bit on my trusty Vaio Z. I like the fact that the USB terminal's plastic is red.

Random Thoughts - Kato Version #2: In-Memory Computing

Here's my random thoughts.

As memory price is getting cheaper and cheaper, the "memory is the new disk" notion is becoming a reality. My server's at 16GB of memory, and this machine I'm writing has 4GB of memory.

Moving the database from disk to memory doesn't cost as much as it did 10 years ago.

Also, the technology is always advancing meaning you can get cheaper and faster memory as time passes.

This "disk" we hold on to may be the thing we won't be needing in the future, as we move on to cheaper SSDs.

The only problem with SSD is the mini freeze issue that comes up. I think there are several fixes to this such as Trim and Garbage Collection, but when that becomes fixed, the transition from hard drives to SSD will be really fast.

ioDrive is a really cool thing to put in your server if you have the money, but it is something most individuals can't afford yet.

When ioDrive gets cheaper and SSD gets better performance as in no mini freeze, I will be making whole new server machine using CentOS as the OS. But that will probably be at least a few years away. Until then I will be upgrading the memory to faster memory (over-clocked?) and changing the CPU to 6 core Phenom II.

Since Mikey started the Random Thoughts, this is the Kato Version (My name's Tsubasa Kato by the way).

Well, there's always this talk between me and Mikey, how Sigmarion 3 should have a different OS. It should either have Android 4.1 or at least Windows Mobile 6.0 then it will be the best handheld EVER produced.

Too bad it was made in 2003...

Well, it has 400Mhz CPU so probably Windows Mobile 6.0 will be the most realistic.

My nick name from my highschool years were Captain, Tsuby, and etc. I like gadgets, I enjoy old and new. I'm recently into more of new gadgets, though I have a nostalgia for classic computers as well.

My dream is someday to be able to build Apple I.

I used to be a reporter for IDG Japan, with their now privately owned DigitalworldTokyo. I go to a lot of conventions, blogger's meetings, and I've been to Google Japan in Tokyo several times in the past.

I'm recently into Perl programming and learning Java for backend and Android development.

My favorite digital camera is KonicaMinolta Dimage Z1 with a pig nose 52mm filter adapter.
